Tasty! I had the club sandwich (gluten free bread) with a ginger ale for lunch. There was lots of meat and lettuce. Fries in the side. It was full of flavor and reasonably priced.
The place has a good feel about it. Rustic and clean. Professional staff. -

Food was brilliant and the service was good too, everyone except a lady with short silver/purple hair she was very rude. I was about to finish my water and leave to go eat somewhere else but someone else ended up serving me thank god. If I wasn't greeted by her rudeness I would of 100% gave this 5stars. I can only give my opinion on the food I ate which was excellent

Really good food and service at Deane's Deli. Always enjoy eating here - it's relaxed with excellent friendly service. Fresh food and great wines. If I could fault this restaurant on anything it's that there unfortunately are not a lot of vegetarian options on the menu.

After the whirlwind experience of Dine Around Deanes (highly recommended) we wanted to go back and actually experience Deanes Deli properly, ( I was pretty intoxicated by the time I arrived there last time!). When we arrived the place was hiving, clearly we weren't the only ones taking advantage of their pre theatre menu! The diners at our table were finishing up so we have a drink at the bar, the bar man was very friendly and chatty which definitely helped, he recommended a couple of cocktails, I had an apple and elderflower martini, I could have drank it like juice!
Once we were shown to our tables they took our coats, and got us additional drinks orders. The menu is not extensive, but plenty of delicious options, I opted for the breads and tapenade, the portion was enough for 2 easily, I had the organic burger as my main, no frills, just a bit of cheese and some veg, the taste of the meat shawn through. Loved it.
One thing I will recommend is the Chez Deaneo house wines, we polished off a bottle of the white, even my bf liked it and he's not a wineo like me!
Lovely attentive staff really made the whole evening perfect, one in particular remembered us from the Dine Around Deanes night... Not sure if that's a good thing! -

Went in here today for some lunch. A decent sized lunch menu was handed to us. We got the beef burger with buffalo mozzarella with chips. On first impression when the food came the burger looked delicious and as the chips, the burger was thick and had a tiny bit of mozzarella in it and lettuce , it also came with salami and tomato but I asked for none in my burger.. The burger patty itself tasted lovely , full of flavour and an intense bbq flavour really nice burger, also came with a dish of relish which was sharp and flavoursome and quite fruity tasting. The chips were crisp, you only get a handful of chips which is a pity £10.50 each I think for the burger and handful of chips. We then got the chocolate tart and lime sorbet dessert, lovely rich silky melt in the mouth chocolate tart with a crispy base, the lime sorbet really complemented the chocolate , the lime sorbet was zingy and fresh , full of flavour. All in all a good lunch at Deanes deli vin cafe. Staff were friendly. Lots of seating inside , high chairs available.
